Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how JM Visuals collects, uses, and protects information in connection with JM Social Publisher.

Effective date: July 2, 2026

Information we collect

  • Account connection data, including platform account identifiers, display names, profile metadata, access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration data, and granted scopes needed to operate integrations.
  • Content workflow data, including media package records, captions, hashtags, post targets, approval status, publish status, platform response IDs, and operational logs.
  • Analytics and status data where authorized by the platform, including basic performance, account, and publishing status metrics.
  • Technical data such as request logs, timestamps, device/browser information, and error data used to secure, debug, and improve the service.

How we use information

  • To authenticate authorized users and connected social accounts.
  • To prepare, review, approve, upload, publish, or schedule content to accounts the owner has authorized.
  • To display account identity, publish status, content status, and analytics inside the creator workflow.
  • To protect the service, troubleshoot issues, monitor abuse, and comply with platform requirements.

Social platform data and OAuth

JM Social Publisher uses platform authorization flows such as OAuth where supported. A connected platform account grants only the scopes requested and approved by that platform.

For TikTok, requested permissions may include account identity, video upload, video publishing, video listing, and basic profile/statistics scopes when needed for the publishing workflow. The app uses these permissions to show the connected account, upload or publish approved content, and report status/analytics to the account operator.

Users can revoke access through the relevant platform account settings. Revoking access may prevent JM Social Publisher from publishing, uploading, or retrieving status for that platform.

Sharing and selling data

We do not sell personal data. We do not share connected account tokens or private workflow data with advertisers or data brokers.

We may share data with infrastructure providers, hosting providers, database providers, and social platforms only as necessary to operate the service and complete authorized publishing actions.

Data retention and deletion

We retain workflow, account, and publishing records for as long as needed to operate the service, maintain auditability, troubleshoot publishing status, and satisfy legitimate business or platform obligations.

Connected account credentials can be removed on request or when access is revoked. Some publishing logs may be retained for security, debugging, or compliance records.

To request deletion of personal or connected account data, contact info@jm-visuals.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect account credentials and workflow data, including server-side credential storage and private access controls for beta usage. No internet service is perfectly secure.

Children

JM Social Publisher is not directed to children under 13 and is intended for real estate agents, brand operators, and agency users managing authorized social accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The updated date will be revised when material changes are made.
