Drone coverage should answer one question: where is this home and what surrounds it?
The 6 aerial shots that matter
Here’s what we mean in practice:
- Straight-down roof + property outline context
- Front elevation with neighborhood framing
- Backyard depth + lot shape
- Corner-lot / acreage context (if applicable)
- Approach shot (street → house)
- One “beauty” wide (golden hour is best)
Quick visual:

Don’t do this
- Over-spin reveals
- Too many identical heights
- Flying too high (home becomes a dot)
Make it feel premium
- Keep motion simple
- Use 2–4 great shots instead of 12 okay ones
- Match exposure and color to ground photos
